Sara J. McGregor, 71 of De Pere passed away peacefully, at home surrounded by her family early Tuesday morning May 17, 2011. She was born January 31, 1940 in Green Bay to the late Thomas and Ruth (Brooker) Cavil. On May 28, 1960 she married Calvin McGregor. Sara had many interests, such as; knitting, sewing, baking, listening to music, flowers, and traveling. She was always one to serve others no matter the circumstances. Sara's greatest joy was spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband Calvin, her children; Carrie (Dominick) LaLoggia, Cindy Van Beek, Amy (Richard) Cassidy, Lori (Paul) Roeser, and Ruth McGregor, as well as 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, her sister Kathryn Cavil, sister in law Gloria Cavil, and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Sara was preceded in death by 2 brothers; John and David and her sister Betty. Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street De Pere from 4 8pm on Friday. Visitation will continue after 10am on Saturday at the First United Presbyterian Church 605 N. Webster Ave. in De Pere until time of service at 11am with Pastor Ray Larson officiating.
