Sarah Latwyla Mitchell gained her wings on Monday October 28, 2019 and was reunited with her parents, sister, son and daughter.
She was born on November 14, 1972 to Vevenlyn Mitchell and John Diamond. Sarah attended school at St. Thomas Of Canterbury and Sullivan High School in Chicago, Illinois. She also briefly attended cosmetology school and she loved to braid and style hair. She relocated her family to Green Bay, Wisconsin in 1996 where she became a certified nursing assistant. She also started an in home daycare called "Sarah's Angels". Sarah loved to help others and did not hesitate to do so. She also loved shopping and spent plenty of time in Walmart buying items for her grandkids whom she loved to spend time with.
Sarah leaves behind 5 loving daughters, Kateesha Mitchell (Damien) Regina Ford (Dejontay) Latia Rutues (Mark) Talisha Rutues(Keri) and Ashley Johnson(Justin), twelve grandchildren, Antonio, Kameron, Lariah, Adrian, Kingston, Rayanah, Dejontay jr, Damien jr, Avryan, Mark the 3rd, Ari and Masai. She is further survived by her siblings, Angela Mitchell, Etely Mitchell, Ken Diamond, Kevin Diamond, Casey Diamond and John Diamond, aunts and uncles and many nieces and nephews, some who were not blood related but she loved them the same.
Sarah was preceded in death by her parents Vevenlyn Mitchell and John Diamond, 2 infant babies, Kevin Spann jr and Angel Brittany Rutues, her baby sister Shartarra Mitchell and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
The family would like to thank Dr. Agu and the nurses from the 9th floor at St. Vincent hospital for their care for our mother/sister during her last days.
