Scott J. Somers, 66, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 19, 2025. A wonderful brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to all who knew him.

Born February 19, 1958, in Eau Claire, he was the son of Gerald and Gloria Somers of Green Bay. After graduating from UW Stout with a degree in Hospitality Management, Scott went on to earn a degree in Computer Science from UWGB. He worked in the field of hospitality management and later many areas of IT.

Scott had many things he was passionate about, his love for the Beatles was well known and he amassed quite a large hobby collection of memorabilia. He had a vast knowledge of all Beatles history and lore. He also enjoyed playing guitar, and supporting his favorite football team, the Green Bay Packers. He enjoyed his lifelong bonds with friends he made in high school and college.

He was a compassionate lover of rescue dogs, acquiring many that he adopted and gave wonderful homes to. He loved the natural world and walking with his dogs enjoying its beauty.

Scott is survived by his brother Steven (Debra) Somers and nephew Michael Somers, his sister Cynthia (Keith) Judd, and niece Alison Judd. His cousins Suzanne (Kevin) Moore and Aaron (Monica) Olson, Paige Olson, and Piper Olson.

In lieu of flowers, Scott's family would appreciate donations to your favorite dog rescue or shelter. A Celebration of Life will follow at a later date.
