Obituary

Seth Ryan Fink, 20, passed away unexpectedly in De Pere, Wisconsin on August 26, 2024. Seth was born in Neenah, Wisconsin on September 28, 2003, to Shannon Rowe. Through adoption, Seth was welcomed home by Carey and Terry Fink on December 1, 2003.

Seth graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School in 2018. He attended West De Pere high school, class of 2022.

Early in life, Seth developed a love for the outdoors and mowing lawns. In middle school, he started doing lawn jobs for neighbors. In high school, he was excited to get a job on the grounds crew at a local golf course, where he learned a lot and his natural gifts and passion for landscaping became clear. He especially enjoyed the early mornings on the course as he'd watch the sun come up while sitting on a mower. Seth transitioned to a position with a local landscaper and continued to further his experience and expand his perspective. In 2024, Seth and his good friend started their own landscaping business, S & D Property Maintenance. Both still working their day jobs, they filled their weekends with regular clients and had a growing list of future customers. Seth found joy and took great pride in a perfectly striped lawn.

Seth loved snowmobiling and riding his motorcycle. He took trips out west to enjoy sledding in the mountains. The drive to Colorado, for sledding with friends in February 2024, was a highlight. Through his motorcycle, Seth was constantly making new friends. He had a passion for riding and enjoyed it every chance he got. He said out loud, more than once, how happy it made him. Seth loved doing things with his friends and was always happy to help them. There was golf, playing baseball, going to parties, straight piping cars, working out and just sitting in lawn chairs in the garage watching TV. Seth brought people together.

He knew the importance of and valued time with family, going up to Grandma and Grandpa's cabin, out to lunch with Granny and causing trouble with his cousins. He spent time with his birth mom and stepbrother. As a big bro, Seth knew exactly how to get under his lil sis's skin. He also always looked out for her. You can be sure he checked into the boys she hung out with and, on occasion, stalked her location on her phone when he was worried about where she was. In the months before his passing, Seth and Kailey's sibling relationship had deepened and they began to spend free time together talking and doing things they both enjoyed, like going to the fair and for rides in his truck. Before leaving the house, Seth would always holler to everyone home, "bye, love you" and he gave hugs often.

Seth is survived by his parents, Carey and Terry Fink and his sister, Kailey, all who miss him and the way he enjoyed life. Seth is further survived by his birthmother, Shannon Lutzow; stepbrother Michael Rowe-Mueller; grandparents, Connie and Harlan Fink, Chris Rosera; aunts and uncles Tracy Friebel (Paul), Megan Moser (Chuck), Molly Rosera; cousins, Kiana and Carson VanDinter and Owen and Kieran Moser; and many, many friends.

He was proceeded in death by his grandfather, Paul Rosera.
