Shannon Lee Wheelock, 53, of Green Bay passed away at his home surrounded by family on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. He was born on June 8, 1969, the son of Elden Wheelock and Valerie (Jourdan) Groleau.

Shannon fought colon cancer for over five years. He continued the treatment to have more time with his family. He enjoyed listening to 80's rock, beading, gambling, classic cars, watching the Green Bay Packers play, and spending quality time with his family. Shannon loved taking us to look for eagle feathers and teaching us about our culture. He did anything to make us laugh.

Shannon is survived by his wife Sunshine; children, Tiffany Lemke, Shantell Wheelock, Sawyer Wheelock, Darian Wheelock, Shannon Wheelock, Jameah Ekdahl, Jacinda Wheelock, Nikira Maki, and Cheyenne Maki; his grandchildren, Keriana Wheelock, Roslyn Wheelock, Faith Marie, Sandra Skenandore, Nasiah, and Mason; his parents, Elden Wheelock and Valerie (Marshall) Groleau; his siblings, Sherry Wheelock, Shelly (Kelly) Stevens, Shane (Becky) Wheelock and Kristie Dunlap.

He is preceded in death by Kermit Jordan, Kathleen Elm, Hubert Jourdan, Randy Jourdan, Elaine Danforth, Florine Jourdan, and Mary Agnes Jourdan.

Visitation will be held at Oneida Assembly of God, N7321 Olson Rd Oneida, WI, on Friday September 16, 2022, beginning at 9:00 AM. The Oneida Hymn Singers will begin at 10:30AM and the service will start at 11:00AM. Burial will take place at Oneida Sacred burial grounds.
