Sharon A. Collar, 76, De Pere, passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 31, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was born April 26, 1945, to the late Alvin and Violet (Moudry) Process. Sharon graduated from St. Joseph Academy. On August 1, 1964, she married Dick Collar at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Green Bay.
Sharon ran a home daycare for many years. As faithful member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, De Pere, Sharon volunteered her time and talents with her love of baking, for parish events. Her baking would often be shared with her family and those going through difficult times. She and Dick loved spending time at their cabin near White Potato Lake, especially the wildlife they would see. Sharon enjoyed playing cards, and belonged to several card clubs, she also liked to go to the casino and play bingo. It was the time she spent with family and friends, that she cherished the most.
She is survived by her husband Dick, their children; Dawn (Rick) Crabb, Al (Lisa) Collar, and her two precious grand children, Drew (special friend Cierra), and Ashley. Her brother Dennis Process and Dick's siblings; Lee (Joan) Collar, Joe (Cheryl) Collar, Jeanne Jubert, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and friends survive her.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, as well as members of her and Dick's family.
Friends may call from 5:00PM – 7:00PM on Monday, September 6, 2021, at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, De Pere. Visitation will continue after 9:30AM on Tuesday at the church.. Fr. James Baraniak O.Praem. will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM with Fr. Tim Shillcox O.Praem. concelebrating. Deacon Mike VanderBloomen will assist at mass. Burial will follow at Mt.
