Shirley Marie Johnson, 67, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. She was born in Green Bay on July 11, 1954 to Willard and Nellie (King) Johnson. She attended Seymour High School. Shirley was a historian at the Oneida Museum. She loved her country music and jigging and hanging with her friends. Shirley was always the life of the party with her friends and family. Shirley is survived by her children; Kris (Joanne) Johnson, Oneida, Stacey Johnson, Green Bay, Samantha (Justin) Johnson, Green Bay, Jeremey Johnson, Green Bay, Jamie Metoxen, Green Bay, 24 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and siblings; Alan R King, Barbara Meyers, Kaukauna, Anthony Johnson, Seymour, Mary Jane Pittman, Oneida, Vera Batiste, Oneida, Patricia Johnson, Oneida, Virginia (Todd) Johnson, Oneida, and Elizabeth Johnson, Green Bay. She is preceded in death by the love of her life Gerald Metoxen, as well as her parents Willard (1997) and Nellie (1987) Johnson, her sister Marylynn Christjohn (2003), The Kings, and many aunties and uncles. Family and friends may visit at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, May 27, 2022. A service will conclude visitation at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Oneida Sacred Burial Grounds. The Spiritual Fire is located at Kris Johnson's residence at 3179 Jonas Circle in Oneida WI. The family would like to give a special thank you to Aunty Ginna, Shirley's son Jeremey Johnson, who was her right-hand man, her best friend and baby girl Jamie Metoxen, her loving and caring children Kris Johnson, Stacey Johnson, and Samantha Johnson, and many friends. Special Yawako to Errol Wilson who sand songs with Shirley, Bob Brown for always taking care of our family, Dr. Matthew Ryan and his team, as well as St. Vincent Cancer Center and the Unity Hospice Team.
