Shirley Ann (Scray) McCabe, 79, De Pere, formerly of Cecil, WI and Green Valley, AZ died Friday evening, October 28, 2011. She was born on June 27, 1932 in Green Bay to Henry and Irene (LeCaptaine) Aurie. Shirley graduated from De Pere High School in 1950 and was employed as a bookkeeper for many years. She married Patrick H. McCabe in Green Bay on April 13, 1979. The couple lived in Palatine, IL and in Rhinelander, WI prior to their retirement. They enjoyed living in Arizona during the winter months and returning to Wisconsin during the summer months. Shirley enjoyed knitting, completing crossword puzzles, and spending time with her dog, Pete. She is survived by her three children Mitch (Vicki) Scray, Julie (Al) Koltz, Mark (Sandy) Scray; one stepson, Scott McCabe, Minneapolis, MN; eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Patrick, her parents, her brother Leander Aurie, her sister Ina Lambert, brother-in-law Roland Lambert, and her stepdaughter Kate McCabe.
