Obituary

Shirli A. Hottenstine, 75, passed away surrounded by family on March 18, 2024 at St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay, WI. Shirli was born on March 11, 1949 in Shawano, WI to Sylvan and Doris (Belgonia) Hottenstine. She was a graduate of Shawano High School. Her and Linda are members of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Oneida, WI.

Shirli's lifelong passion was taking care of her family, her nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. She loved cooking, and her family always loved her easter buns and biscuits, her frybread, her fudge, and especially her dips. Shirli always loved watching her nieces and nephews play sports, and was always a generous supporter of their fundraisers.

She is survived by her significant other, Linda, her brothers, David (Cindy) Hottenstine, Jim (Cyndi) Hottenstine, her sister Pat (Don) Erickson, and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvan and Doris Hottenstine, her brothers Russell and Richard Hottenstine, Frank Doxtator, Cleveland Doxtator, Carol Wood, Betty Parker, Billy Doxtator, and Erma Doxtator.

Family and friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N Tenth Street, De Pere, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Saturday March 23, 2024. A memorial service will be held following the visitation at 12:00 PM with Dc. Bobby Doxtator officiating.
