Obituary
Sister Mary Bede Baeten, CSJ, 97, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2009 in St. Louis, MO. She was born February 7, 1912 the daughter of Peter and Gertrude (Ambrosius) Baeten, the youngest of eleven children. Sister Mary Bede entered the Order of St. Joseph of Carondelet after High School, and taught in the primary grades for 48 years. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, and will be sadly missed. The Celebration of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am this morning, February 12, 2009 in St. Louis with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery, St. Louis. Memorials may be sent to The Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, St. Louis Province, 6400 Minnesota Ave. St. Louis, MO. 63111-2899.
