Stanislaw "Stanley" Trauner, 72, Krakow, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Tuesday, August 6, 2019. The son of Neža Trauner was born in Slovenia on April 26, 1947. He moved to the United States in 1967. On February 13, 1975 he married Marija Purkat in Milwaukee. They raised two sons together and recently celebrated their 44th anniversary of marriage. Stanley loved to fish, hunt and collect antique firearms. He loved country living and watching wildlife. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and loved whenever the whole family was together, especially on holidays. He is survived by his wife, Marija, sons Stanley Jr. (Shelby) and Johnny (Valerie), and grandchildren, Dakota, Dominic, Amelia, Elizabeth and Nathan. Family and friends may visit at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 11, 2019. A short prayer service will conclude the visitation. Burial will take place at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
