Stella J. Cortright, 94, De Pere, passed away Sunday January 21, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 22, 1923, to the late Conrad and Isabella (Vetter) Lang. On February 6, 1943, she married George Cortright at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Marathon. Stella was an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, De Pere. Stella also volunteered at Rennes Nursing Home, as well as volunteered her time on election day at the polling station. Above all she was proudest being a homemaker, a loving wife, a mother, a grandmother and a great grandmother. She is survived by her children, Dianne (Clyde) Van Den Elzen, Don (Judy) Cortright, Debra (Donald) Dascher, Denece (Gary) Lorfeld, and Dean (Debbie) Cortright. She is further survived by her 16 grandchildren, Christopher (Julie), Tim (Lori), Andrea (Pat), Steven (Heidi), Sean (Jolene), Joel (Katerina), Josh (Hiromi), Danae, Shaina (Ed), Mark, Matthew (Heidi), Kristina (Josh), Luke (Jennifer), Kyle (Amy), Amber (Bobby), Laura (Kelton), as well as 28 great grandchildren, her sister Isabelle Misudek, sister-in-law Delores Lang, and Daisy Cortright, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband George in 1987, a great-grandchild, her siblings, Caroline (Ralph) Zimmerman, Hugo (Irene) Lang, Hubert Lang, Clarence (Lou) Lang, Melvin (Evelyn) Lang, Arnold (Florence) Lang, Erna (Ernest) Pozorski, Mark (Viola) Lang, Frederick (Patricia) Lang, and brothers-in-law, Henry Misudek and John (Rosemond) Cortright as well as Henry Cortright. Friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, De Pere, after 9:00AM Saturday, January 27, 2018. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM with Fr.
