Steve Leo Sinclair, age 53, resident of De Pere, WI passed away on April 9, 2018. He was born October 11, 1964 to Rosalie (Geurts) Sinclair and Roland "Gene" Sinclair in Green Bay, WI. He attended West De Pere High School, St. Norbert College, Purdue University, UW-Green Bay, Lesley University, NOVA Southeastern University, Northeast WI Technical College and several more institutions as he was a lifelong learner and teacher. Steve married Laura Beck on June 6, 1986 in De Pere, WI on the grounds of St. Norbert College. Together, they raised three wonderful children. Steve worked as an Instructional Technology Innovation Specialist at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. He previously was a technology trainer at both RR Donnelley and Humana and taught Chemistry at Menasha High School. Steve was a board member of the Friends of the Brown County Library and enjoyed helping with their semi-annual book sales. He loved everything technology based and liked to build things in his free time. His favorite pastime, however, was playing Dungeons and Dragons with friends. Steve is survived by his spouse, Laura; children Gwyer, Cambria and Keygan; siblings Paul (Mona) Sinclair of Zionsville, IN, Kevin "Casey" (Becky) Sinclair of New Franken and Lynda (Joe) Privett of De Pere and many other family and friends. Steve was preceded in death by his parents Rosalie and Gene Sinclair and brother Lange "Buster" Sinclair. Friends may call from 4-6 PM on Friday, April 13 at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N 10th Street in De Pere with a Celebration of Life following at 6 PM where friends and family will be invited to speak. Feel free to wear red, Steve's favorite color, as a tribute to him. In lieu of flowers, Steve's family asks that you honor his memory with a donation to The Nature Conservancy.
