Obituary

Steven David Spice, 35, of De Pere, passed away unexpectedly at home on February 1, 2025. The son of Gerald and Amy (Baumgartner) Spice was born in Green Bay on September 16, 1989. He attended Southwest High School. Steven was a kind and wonderful young man. He loved eating his favorite food dishes that his mom cooked for him with love. He was a great helping hand to his father, taking him on errands and helping with projects. Steven and his dad enjoyed companionship together playing golf and camping. He liked to read the Bible, play his guitar, listen to music, and follow the Milwaukee Brewers and Bucks.

Steven struggled during his adult years with health challenges, but he tried his best to persevere through them.

Steven is survived by his parents, brother Matthew Spice, paternal grandfather Floyd Spice Sr. aunts and uncles: Mary Hess, Doris Tipps, Paul (Kitsy) Baumgartner, Steven Baumgarter, Floyd (Faye) Spice Jr., Judy (Dennis) Ellie, Calvin Spice, Robert (Jenny) Spice, Harry Spice, Janice (Robert) Schmidt, and Janet (Todd) Schmidt. He is further survived by many cousins.

Steven was preceded in death by his beloved sister Kara Lynn Rojas-Spice, maternal grandparents Richard and Gladys Baumgartner, paternal grandmother Marilyn Jean Spice, Aunt Susan Baumgartner, Uncle Michael Tipps.

Steven was a cornea and tissue donor, helping numerous people improve their lives.

Steven's family wishes to thank Dr. John Williams, MD and Pamela Page, APNP, of Prevea Clinic for the kindness and medical care they gave Steven through the years.

There will be a private celebration of life for Steven at a future date.

To our precious Steven – We will love and miss you every day. Please look down on us from Heaven and guide us on our earthly journey until we join you and Kara in Heaven.
