Sue Ann Janssen, 78, De Pere, died on July 2, 2015 at a local nursing home. The daughter of the late Alfred and Berenice (Werschem) Michel was born on July 11, 1936 in Green Bay. On September 6, 1958 Sue Ann married Robert "Buck" Janssen at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, Green Bay. Early on Sue Ann worked at the Union Hotel, and for many years at the Green Bay Catholic Diocese. She was an active member of St. Boniface Church in De Pere. Outside of work she enjoyed playing golf, as well as reading, knitting, and crossword puzzles. Sue Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her loving family includes her sons, John (Debbie), Joseph, Christopher (Eileen), and her daughter, Kellie Powless. Her grandchildren include Jared (Courtney), Travis, Anya, Lenora, Key, Dane, Evelyn, Lillian, and Margaret, as well as two great granddaughters, Sloane and Kensington. She is further survived by her sisters, Michelene (John) Van De Ven, and Mary Ann Merckx. Sue Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and brother-in-law, Robert Merckx.
