Susan Marie Lindgren, 74, passed away peacefully Saturday 5, 2026.

Susan was born December 19, 1951, in Iron Mountain, Michigan. Independent and hardworking from a young age, she opened her own hair salon and began building a life for herself in Green Bay. During this time, she met Roger Lindgren and the two were married on December 4, 1971, sharing 50 years of marriage together.

As Susan and Roger began their family, she devoted herself to raising their three children. Of all the things Susan accomplished in her life, being a mother was among those that mattered most to her. She worked incredibly hard, loved her children deeply, and gave them a home filled with support, stability, and the knowledge that Mom would always be there when they needed her.

As her children grew older, Susan began a sewing and alterations business that she would continue for more than 30 years. What started with alterations grew to include everything from everyday alterations to complete weddings, custom dresses, riding jackets, embroidery, and other items for some of the most important moments in people's lives. She took tremendous pride in her work and found great satisfaction in knowing that she had helped make someone's special moment even more meaningful.

Susan treasured time spent with her children and grandchildren and took pride in watching the family she and Roger had built grow over the years. Nothing meant more to her than knowing her children were doing well and being able to share in the lives of her grandchildren.

She also dearly loved the companionship and joy her little dogs brought her. Winnie held a very special place in Susan's heart for years, and more recently, Daisy became a treasured companion and source of comfort and happiness.

Susan is survived by her children, Kristen Lindgren (Tommy Landwehr), Karl Lindgren (Michelle Keehan), and Kimberly Lindgren; her beloved grandchildren, Ahna, Nik, Lukas, Isak, Jakob, Tristan, and Maryn; her brother, Rick (Becky) Etka; and her sisters, Carol (Ken) Scammahorn and Mary Hagen. She is also survived by extended family, friends, and the many people she came to know through her work over the years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Lindgren; her parents, Loren and Armelene Etka; her brother, Gordon Etka; and her brother-in-law, David Hagen.

Susan's life was not defined by any single accomplishment. It was defined by decades of hard work, by the people she helped, by the family she raised, and by the love she gave so freely to those closest to her.

Her children will remember a mother who worked tirelessly for her family, who was always there when she was needed, and who helped shape the people they became. Her grandchildren will remember a grandmother who loved them immensely. And the many people who knew Susan through her work will remember her skill, her kindness, and the part she played in some of the happiest days of their lives.

She will be deeply missed, but the family she built and the lives she touched are a lasting reflection of a life very well lived.
