Susan P. "Sue" Moore, 70, De Pere, passed away with her loving family and friends by her side on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, following a nine month battle with cancer. The daughter of Erwin and Muriel (Duprey) Staeven was born on August 17, 1946 in Green Bay. Sue grew up as one of seven children, and graduated from West De Pere High School in 1965. On September 4th of that same year, she married Ronald "Ronnie" Moore at St. Boniface Church in De Pere. For more than three decades, Sue worked for Moore Response Graphics (now RR Donnelley). She made many lifelong friends there and retired in April of 2008 to care for Ronnie before his passing. Sue enjoyed traveling, and gardening while home. She liked bowling, golfing and gambling now and then with her friends. She and Ronnie had a beautiful yard, and she loved to feed the wildlife in the neighborhood. More than anything, Sue enjoyed spending time with family and her dog, Dakota. Sue is survived by siblings, Peggy (Ernie) Heitzke, Erwin Jr. (Carol), Randy, Don (Brenda Daul), Jackie (Chris) McDonough, and Paul. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews and other members of her extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie, parents, Erwin and Muriel, sister-in-law, Christy, and niece, Susan Heitzke. Family and friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, beginning at 4:00 PM on Sunday, April 23, 2017. A prayer service will take place at 7:00 PM to close the evening. Entombment will take place at Allouez Mausoleum. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Unity Hospice, especially Bonnie, John and Haley. They would also like to thank all of the close friends who came to help support Sue during this difficult time.
