Terence "Terry" Danforth, of Parma, Ohio, passed away on October 16, 2021. Terry was the son of Dorothy (Metoxen) and Antone "Tony" Danforth. He was a kind and gentle soul, always willing to lend a hand to friends and family. He loved to cook and create beautiful things, taking such great care of his houseplants and past rose gardens. He will be missed for his beautiful smile and fun and thoughtful disposition.
Terry grew up in Milwaukee and started dating his life-long sweetheart, Cheryl Pfister, in junior high school. Terry and Cheryl were married on March 13, 1982, and later moved to Ohio and started a family. Although they did not stay married, they remained close throughout his life. Terry loved being Alex's father-it was his greatest joy in life.
He is survived by Cheryl and his son Alex Danforth; his mother Dorothy Danforth; and sisters Alison (Tramell) Danforth, Diane (Kevin Sr.) House, and Joann Danforth,. He is further survived by nieces and nephews Michael (Kelly), Richard, Kelly, Krista, Kevin Jr., Tamera and Darius; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Terry was preceded in death by his grandparents William and Evangeline (Wheelock) Metoxen and Peter and Sabie (King) Danforth; his father Tony Danforth and brother Michael Danforth. Terry will be cremated and brought home to Wisconsin. A burial service at his gravesite will be held at the Holy Apostles Church in Oneida, WI at 1: 00 p.m. on October 29, 2021. There will also be a celebration of his life to be held in Ohio at a later date.
