Obituary

Tekyakotsynatote Rachel Danforth, 30, resident of Oneida, WI, passed away on October 6, 2020. She was born on July 6, 1990 to Evangeline Cornelius and Leander Danforth in Green Bay, WI. She loved animals, nature, loved dancing and singing. She also liked to read the Bible, reading chapter books, dressing up and doing her makeup, writing letters, journaling, and many sports including softball, football and basketball. She also enjoyed the outdoors, working out, and loved karaoke! She is survived by her son Noah, parents Evangeline Danforth, Leander (Debbie) Danforth, Her siblings Keith Quiver, Keta (Gordon) Quiver, Elizabeth (Matthew) Danforth, Vashi (Arturo) Cornelius-Rios, Katsistuti Danforth, Jason (Abby) Danforth, Kayukwaliyo (Tasheba) Danforth, Yenvstakwas Danforth, and Tekaluhiyaks Danforth and her special friendship sister Amanda Perrote, her nieces and nephews, Emerson Christjohn, Celinda Christjohn, Byran (Yelih) Halona, Jamison Quiver, Valencia Rios, Armonie Rios, Dahlia Rios, Arturo Rios, Farrah Danforth, Grayson Danforth, Richard "Lotsi" House, Alianna House, Giovanni Danforth. She was preceded in death by Orville Cornelius Sr., Leander Danforth Sr., Janice Cornelius, and her cousins Renessa Bluebird, True Ann Danforth, Joseph Crumble and Imaysheia Rosette Crumble. She was buried in the Oneida Sacred Burial Grounds on October 11, 2020. Special thank you to the Cornelius Clan, Latsi and Landis Hill, Sue Reiter, Lora Skenandore, Alyssa Feldner, Michael Ratachic, Kanataloloks Zacarias-Skenandore and Josephine Skenandore, Robert Brown, Yelih Lee, Danforth Family, the fire-keepers at Leander and Debbie's house, Danforth Drummers/singers, all family and friends for the monetary donations, food deliveries, the Oneida Community, Ryan Funeral Home, and all the love and support given through prayers, visits, cards, and condolences.
