Theodore "Ted" "Huck" Huchro, 77, of Flintville, formerly of Kewaunee passed away on Saturday morning, December 29, 2012, surrounded by his family. The son of the late Tom and Selma (Duescher) Huchro was born on September 19, 1935 in Tisch Mills. Ted served his country in the U.S. Marines, serving in California . He married Faye Polzin on September 24, 1960 at Oneida Methodist Church. They had just celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary.
Ted had worked at Fort Howard Paper Company in Green Bay for 32 years, prior to retirement in 1997. He enjoyed the outdoors and especially hunting and fishing. Huck was a great neighbor and friend and will be sadly missed.
Survivors include his wife, Faye, nieces and nephews, Greg (Mary) Wilson, Lori (Jim) Cleven, Brian (Kim) Madl, Michelle (Lance) Soehren, Karen (David) Elliot, Daniel (Jackie) Polzin. Survivors also include Faye's siblings, Fred Polzin, Montana, Carole Madl, De Pere, Barbara Wilson, De Pere. He was preceded in death by his brother, Edward, and a sister-in-law, Bonnie Polzin.
Family and friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere, from 9:00 to 11:00 am Thursday, January 3, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at the funeral home with Reverend Paul Pett from Redeemer Lutheran Church, officiating.
