Theresa Y. (Doxtator) McPherson, 73, Green Bay, passed away early Tuesday morning September 9, 2014. She was born September 26, 1940 to the late Russell and Dorothy (Stevens) Doxtator Sr. She married Leon McPherson on December 19, 1981. Theresa loved her grandchildren, and spent a lot of time with Haley Thomas. She raised Charles Cook and Kendal Cook. Theresa also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, crosswords, knick-knack shopping, Bingo, watching METV, and going to pow-wows. She had also lived in Albuquerque, MN. For 18 years. Theresa has six children; Tracy Thomas, Green Bay, Rosetta Thomas (Friend Red), Green Bay, Jeff Thomas, Green Bay, Bill Grady, Madison, Albert Thomas, Green Bay, and Charles Cook Sr. (Good Friend Laurie Bailey), Green Bay. Her 8 grandchildren, and great grandchildren, as well as her siblings; Clarence (Elaine) Doxtator, Janice (Nate) Cloud, Corrine Doxtator, Helen (Ken) Doxtator, and Russell Jr. (Pat) Doxtator survive her. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leon, as well as her siblings; Marriam Doxtator and Phyllis (Doxtator) DeCorah. Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth De Pere from 4 7pm Thursday September 11, 2014. The Oneida Hymn Singers will sing at 6:30pm followed by a prayer service at 7pm. Visitation will continue after 10am Friday at the Oneida United Methodist Church until time of service at 11am. The Oneida Hymn Singers will sing at 10:30am.
