Thomas James Kros Jr., 58, De Pere, passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday evening, May 24, 2022 following a short battle with cancer. The son of Beverly (Pierzchalski) and the late Thomas J. Kros Sr. was born at the Schilling Air Force Base in Kansas on August 30, 1963. Tom was the oldest of three children and graduated from Bay Port High School in 1981. Following high school, he joined the United States Air Force. On June 6, 1992, he married Carol Pichette at St. Mary Catholic Church in De Pere. For over 20 years, Tom was employed by the Oneida Nation working as a telecommunication analyst. Hunting, fishing and spending time up north were Tom's favorite pastimes. He loved watching the Packers and Brewers. His boys were his pride and joy, and for years he traveled the state watching them play sports. He is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years, Carol; sons, Thomas III "T.J.," Andrew, Matthew and Connor; granddaughter, Juniper; mother, Beverly; and siblings, Susan (Bill) Burtch and Connie Kros. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, friends, and other family members. Tom was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Sr. and parents-in-law James and Beverly (Berken) Pichette, as well as other extended family members. Family and friends may visit at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 30, 2022. Visitation will continue at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Drive, Ledgeview at 9:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by full Military Honors. The family would like to thank the nurses on the 9th Floor of St. Vincent Hospital, as well as Doctors Burnette and Asma.
