Thomas Lorberblatt, 62, of De Pere passed away Sunday evening, April 18, 2010 at a local hospital. The son of Charlotte (Janssen) Lorberblatt and the late Donald Lorberblattt was born September 16, 1947 in Green Bay. He married the former Julie Gehrig on December 26, 1970. She preceded him in death on October 24, 2003. Tom worked Gagnon Clay products for many years. He was a 1970 graduate of St. Norbert College and a very active member of Old St. Joe's Catholic Church. He served on the Parish Council for many years and sang in the choir. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed cycling, sailing and kayaking. Tom was a member of the De Pere Men's Club. Survivors include his children, Joel and Ronon O'Neill, Madison, Andrea and Richard Elaver, Ft. Wayne, IN, Jakob Lorberblatt, De Pere, three grandchildren, Mhairi and Seadan O'Neill, and Simon Elaver, his mother, Charlotte Soukup, and one sister, Lynn Johnson. Tom was preceded in death by his father, Donald and his wife, Julie. Family and friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, April 23, 2010. Visitation will continue at Old St. Joe's Parish on St. Norbert College Campus from 9:00 am to 10:30 am Saturday April 24, 2010. Mass of Resurrection will be concelebrated on Saturday at 10:30 am at the church with Fathers Gery Meehan, Conrad Kratz and James Baraniak, O. Praem., officiating.
