September 14, 1948 – April 25, 2023
Thomas Lee Thibodeau, 74, De Pere, passed away Tuesday April 25, 2023. He was born September 14, 1948, in Algoma to the late Norbert and Donna (Moegenberg) Thibodeau. Tom was a graduate of Sheboygan South High School.
On October 11, 1969, he married Sandra Kletzien in Sheboygan, and she preceded him in death on December 3, 1995. On August 2, 1997, he married Mary Lou Reinert/Halle in Seymour.
Tom proudly served his country in the United States Airforce as an Air Traffic Controller from 1968 – 1972, attaining the rank of Sargent. After the service, Tom was involved in car sales most of his career.
An outdoors person by nature, Tom enjoyed golfing, boating, trap shooting, fishing, hunting, camping, and other outdoor activities. Tom loved watching the Packers and Badger Football. Spending time with his cats and dogs, and especially his family is what he looked forward to the most. He was also a proud member of the NRA, and American Legion.
He is survived by his wife Mary, children; Michelle (Bruce) Turnquist, Adam (Bethani) Thibodeau, Brooke Halle (Mike Hills), and Robin (Brett) Kain. Grandchildren; Lydia Turnquist, Haydan Thibodeau, Alexia Thibodeau, Adriena Schmidt (fiancé Corey Vander Zanden), Ryan Schmidt (fiancé Julie Baumgart), Jeremy Schmidt, Natalie Kain, and Emilie Kain. Great Grandchildren; Riley Schmidt, and Raelynn Schmidt.
Tom's siblings; Bruce (Mary Jo) Thibodeau, Gary (Jill) Thibodeau, Renee' (Jack) Fiedler, Jimmy Thibodeau, and his Aunt Grace Piper.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
Friends may call from 12:00PM Monday, May 8, 2023, at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere until time of service at 3:00PM with Pastor Leon Ehlert officiating. Military Rites to follow. Inurnment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Algoma. In Lieu of flowers and plants a memorial fund will be established.
