Thomas "Tom" J. Kane, 63, De Pere passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday evening, July 23, 2023. He was born December 23, 1959, to the late Lawrence and Grace (Alears) Kane. Tom was a 1978 graduate of West De Pere High School. On September 4, 1987, he was united in marriage to Linda Fritsch.

Tom had worked at 41 Truck Plaza for 20 years before going on to work as the Maintenance Foreman for several Shell stations. In 2004, he started the family business, Kane Lawn Care and Snowplowing. He loved visiting with everyone and going out to eat. Known for not really being able to say no, Tom was always helping someone out. He was most proud of his family, especially his grandsons.

He is survived by his wife Linda, their children; Julie (Josh) Nolan, Jeff Kane, and Jennifer (Sam) Secor. His grandsons; Brady, Blake, Brett, Carson, and baby boy arriving soon. His in-laws; Don and Joan Fritsch, brothers-in-law; Ron (Marianne) Fritsch, Terry (Gwen) Fritsch, and Randy (special friend Laurin) Fritsch. Tom is further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many special friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, infant sister Grace, and his brother Mike.

Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere from 4:00PM – 7:00PM on Wednesday, July 26th. Visitation will continue on Thursday, July 27th at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, De Pere from 9:00AM, until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM with Fr. James Baraniak O.Praem. officiating.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
