Thomas R. Vandelist, 82, De Pere, passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Monday, April 26, 2021. Tom was born on December 25, 1938 in Green Bay to the late Norbert and Evelyn (Van Dalen) Vandelist. He attended St. Norbert High School and graduated from St. Norbert College in 1961 with an accounting degree. Tom married Suzanne Lamal on July 30, 1960 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Green Bay.
After graduation, Tom joined his father in the family business, Grandview Dairy, delivering dairy products to homes and businesses in the De Pere area for more than 40 years.
Tom enjoyed shooting trap & skeet, he was a lifelong member of the De Pere Sportsman Club, the Brown County Sportsman Club and was President of the Central Wisconsin Skeet League. Tom enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren; deer hunting with his grandsons and participating in horse shows with his granddaughter.
Tom is survived by his wife of 60 years, Suzanne; their children Jack Vandelist, Cathy (Randy) Marquis; daughter-in-law, Bridget Vandelist; grandchildren, Joe (Lauren) Vandelist, Tommy Vandelist, Matthew Marquis and Paige Marquis; his sister Barbara Grinnell, brother Mark (Lisa) Vandelist, many relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Tom is preceded in death by his son, Michael; his mother and father-in-law, James (Catherine) Lamal; his brothers-in-law, Richard Lamal and Robert Grinnell.
