Tim Wilmet, 60, of De Pere, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, November 22, 2016 from health complications of a recent serious health condition. The son of the late Don and Ruth (Le Caire) Wilmet was born April 4, 1956.
He was a 1974 graduate of West De Pere High School and a graduate of the Bellin School of Radiology and Marian College. He married Jody Raddant on October 6, 1990 at First Congregational United Church of Christ, De Pere.
Tim was a loyal servant to the Lord and was an active member of First Congregational United Church of Christ in De Pere. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved hunting and fishing, and sharing a cigar and Old Fashioned with his buddies Up North. He enjoyed golfing with his Wednesday golf group.
Tim loved to laugh at his own bad jokes and repeated one liners, just like his father, Don. He brought kindness, love, and joy to all of his friends, family, patients, and co-workers. Everybody loved Tim; he was the best dad, husband, grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend.
Survivors include his wife, Jody, two children, Christopher (Gretchen) and Lauren, grandsons Aidan, Logan, and Gavin, his siblings, Marcia Wilmet, Gary (Jane) Wilmet, Steve (Sharon) Wilmet, and Paul Wilmet, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for family and close friends will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday November 26, 2016 at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 1018 Cedar Street, De Pere. A public visitation and Celebration of Tim's Life will be held from 6:00 to 10:00 pm on Saturday at The Marq.
