Thomas Andrew Armstrong 53, Green Bay, passed away suddenly on August 15, 2021 doing something he loved—tending hunting land in Tigerton. Tom was born on April 8, 1968 to Laurence and Nancy (Scott) Armstrong.
Tom cared deeply about his family and friends. He was a friend to everyone and had a wicked sense of humor. He was one of the funniest people he knew. Tom was kind and generous, always available to help people even those he just met. If you knew Tom you couldn't help but love him and he truly was a friend to all.
His love for the outdoors started early in Oconto Falls. He loved to hunt, fish, golf, and ski. If it was outdoors and active, he was happy. He was a great storyteller and had the adventures to back them up. Almost all of the stories were true.
The only thing Tom loved more than the outdoors was his family. He coached many of Peyton's sports teams and was a devoted dance dad for Libby's teams. Family gatherings and celebrations in Green Lake and Cape Cod were numerous and important to him.
Tom is survived by his son Peyton and daughter Libby, and their mother Chrissy Armstrong and his fur buddy Louis. He is also survived by his brother David Armstrong (Matt Cudney) sister-in-law Debbie Armstrong, nephew Max (Samantha) Armstrong, niece Elle Armstrong, aunt Louise Armstrong and cousins Debbie (Henry) Alverez, Jill (Charlie) Taylor and Peggy Armstrong.
He is preceded in death by his parents Larry and Nancy Armstrong and his brother Jay Armstrong.
Tom's loss will leave a huge void for those who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary or a charity of your choice in Tom's memory.
Family and friends may gather at D-2 Sports Pub, 530 Larsen Orchard Parkway, Hobart, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 22, 2021. A sharing of stories will take place at 1:00 p.m.
