Milton G. "Tony" Summers, 70, of Green Bay died Monday March 15, 2010 at a Green Bay hospital surrounded by his family. Milton was born November 7, 1939 in Oneida to the late Milton and Mildred (Elm) Summers. Tony had worked at Southern California Edison for twenty years prior to retiring and moving back to Green Bay in 2003 with his son and his family. He enjoyed a full life, especially dining out with his family members, eating his ice cream, incessant successful gambling, working on his databases on his computer, and attending his A.A. Meetings with his close friends.
Milton attended Brigham Young University, obtained his BS in Manufacturing Technology, and served in the United States Navy. He was an integral member of Alcoholics Anonymous, where he formed lasting friendships that became family. He had been a dancer at Pow Wows for many years and belonged to the Oneida Nation Hymn Singers.
Survivors include his son Milton Jody "Joey" (Alicia M.) Summers, his daughter, Wanda Frisco (Colin) Russell, of Alberta, Canada, four grandchildren, Ka'sondra M. Russell, Jesse Tony Russell, Natosi D. Summers, and Nat'aani S. Summers, two great grandchildren Shyne and Brodin, his six sisters Lou Ann Green, Jan Frion, Ella Sauer, Rita Summers, Arvilla Summers, his two brothers Lynn (Claire) Summers, Phillip Summers, Phoenix, AZ. He was very supportive of his family and shared his wisdom, wit and humor with many. He will be sadly missed by all who know and love him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and three sisters Amanda Summers, Lavonia Metoxon, Emmalir Schultz.

Tenth Street, De Pere from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 18, 2010. Oneida Hymn Singers will sing after 6:30. Visitation will continue on Friday from 9:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home. Funeral services will be celebrated at 11:00 am Friday at the funeral home with family and friends officiating.
