Valentin "Val" G. Fursov, 51, of Green Bay, died surrounded by his loving family at home on Sunday evening, September 12, 2010, following a short illness. The son of Gregoriy and Dina (Kolosov) Fursov was born June 28, 1959 in the Ukraine. On August 21, 1988, he married the former Yelena Sinchuk in the Ukraine. The couple moved to the United States in January of 1993 and moved to Green Bay in July of 1998. Val took great pleasure in helping other people in the community. He was a wonderful husband and father. He especially enjoyed taking his children fishing. Val was be sadly missed by all that knew and loved him. His family includes his wife, Yelena, their nine children, Liliya (husband Vadim and son, Vincent) Zolotov, Oksana, Irina, Julia, Janet, Emily, Jessica, Daniel, and Jeremy Fursov, as well as his parents Gregoriy and Dina. Friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday September 16, 2010. Visitation will continue after 9:00 am Friday at the Voice of Faith Church, 521 Fourth Street, Green Bay until time of service. Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 am Friday at the church.
