Vivian Ann Tourtillott, 56, passed away at home on Monday morning, January 20, 2025. The daughter of Thomas Judith (Grignon) Tourtillott was born in Shawano on April 10, 1968.
Vivian spent her childhood between Shawano and Chicago, attended Shawano High School and went on for her accounting degree at the College of Menominee Nation. After living in Phoenix for a time, she came back to the area and worked for the Oneida Nation. Vivian was a hard worker, and loved her Native traditions, attending Pow Wows, cooking and watching the Packers.
She is survived by her father, Thomas; fiancé, David Ryba; children, Richard Turney, Robert (Charissa Nahwahquaw), Judith Turney (Gabriel Forgue), and Pasquinell Samuelson; grandchildren Mariah, Amari, Kechemow, Nativa (Jason) and Kiowa. Vivian is further survived by her siblings, Thomas Jr., Lance, Chad, Brian, and Amber Warrington; and beloved dogs Feather and Molly.
Vivian was preceded in death by her mother, Judith; grandson, Levi; siblings Melissa and Matthew; aunts Paula and Roxy; uncle Robert; nieces Samatha Rojas; cousins J.R. and Barbara.
Family and friends may join Vivian's fire at her home, 512 Leonard Street, from now until sunset on Thursday. Vivian will be at home in a closed casket. A feast will take place at the home beginning at sunset Thursday.
