Warren Emmett Boone, 93, De Pere, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2016. The son of Lloyd and Marie (Benson) Boone was born May 28, 1922 in Estherville, Iowa. Warren received his education in the Estherville schools and went on to serve in the United States Army Air Corp during World War II. Following his discharge, he began his career in management with the FW Woolworth Company. After a lengthy career with Woolworth, he started his own business, Tiffany's Bakery. On August 8, 1942 he married the love of his life, Irene M. Boone. They raised two children together and shared 37 wonderful years. She passed away in 1979 after a hard fought battle with cancer. In 1990, Warren married Ann Becker of De Pere. They enjoyed over 25 wonderful years together. Warren is survived by his wife, Ann; children, Charyl (Dave) Winther and Stephen (Marie) Boone; grandchildren, David (Jill) Winther, Michael (Rebecca) Winther, Laura (Tim) Thomas, Tonya Boone, Nicole (Matt) Emmer and Justin Boone; and 13 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his sister, Jean Myhre; Annie's son, Mike (Pat) Becker; her grandchildren, Andrew, Nicholas (Rebecca) and Paula Ann (Eric); and four great grandchildren. Warren was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Lloyd "Bus", Ralph and Daniel; one sister, Lora Belle Beaver; and one great granddaughter, Charlotte Winther. Family and friends may visit from 10:00 AM to 12:00 on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 305 N. Tenth St, De Pere.
