Deau
December 20, 1936 – June 27, 2023
Warren Deau, 86, Town of Pittsfield, passed away peacefully on June 27th, 2023 with his family by his side. He was born on December 20, 1936 to the late Leonard and Helen (Kroll) Deau.
On September 11, 1971, Warren married the love of his life, Lois Emerich, in Caledonia Wisconsin. They resided in their home in Kunesh for the past 50 years and raised 5 beautiful children. Lois and Warren rarely spent time apart.
Warren spent 39 years at Proctor and Gamble and thoroughly enjoyed his retirement since 1996. He and his family enjoyed the summers camping, and fished almost daily, catching more fish than any person could imagine. He proudly passed on his love and skill for fishing to his children and grandchildren. He also had a love for hunting and never missed a deer camp, hunting up until the age of 85. He enjoyed tying his own flies, woodworking, fixing things, prided in his garden, birdwatching and weekly cribbage games with his buddies. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He and Lois were passionate about bargain shopping and occasional trips to the casino.
Warren is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lois, and their children Terry (Rich) Williams, Kathy (Jamie) Holzer, Sandy (Christian) Titulaer, Angie (Kory) Lothe, and Steve (Karen) Deau. Grandchildren Jacob, Connor (Hannah), Brooke, Brynn, Jonas, Finley, Thomas, Hylynn, Urban, Charlie Ann, and great grand-daughter Harlow. Siblings Barb (Mike) Lindsley, Curney (Dave) Faltynski, Kay (Clem) Hedeen, Debbie (Scott) Zierson, Todd Deau; sister in-law Pat (Dave) Wesolowski, brother in-laws Don (Beth) Emerich and Alex (late Danna) Emerich, and many nieces and nephews.
Warren was preceded in death by his brothers Larry (Della) and Rodney (Lin), his brother in-laws Tom and Dick (JoAnn) Emerich, his parents and his in-laws Harold and Laverne Emerich.
