Obituary

Wayne "Buck" Clark, 76, of Little Rapids, died late Sunday night, March 9, 2014 at home with his family at this side. The son of the late Gilbert "Toady" and Edna (Constance) Clark was born on November 7, 1937 in Green Bay. He married the former Joan Baril on October 26, 1957 at First Congregational Church, De Pere. Buck worked at Ft. Howard Paper Company and Little Rapids Pulp and Paper at Little Rapids for many years prior to retirement. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Bucky worked summers as lock tender in Little Rapids and Appleton. After retirement, he drove cars for National Car Rental. He loved motorcycling, especially tours with his Gold Wing. Survivors include his wife, Joan, two sons, Denis ( Susan) Clark, and Gary (Jacky) Clark, grandchildren, Carrie (Jeff) Ostrowski, Beth Clark (Kyle Cook), Katie Clark (Chris Robillard), Ray Clark, Christopher Clark, Michael Clark, 4 great grandchildren, Casey, Brenden, Eric Ostrowski, and Ryan, one sister, Shirley Knitt, and nieces, Amy and Lisa Knitt. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother-in-law, Emery Knitt. Family and friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday March 14, 2014. Visitation will continue on Saturday at First Congregational Church United Church of Christ, Cedar at Tenth Streets, De Pere from 9:00 to 11:00 am on Saturday. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday at the church with Pastor Jan Davis, officiating. Burial service will be held Saturday afternoon at South Lawrence Cemetery.
