William "Bill" Bentley, 51, De Pere, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017. He was born September 26, 1965 in Green Bay to William R. and Ruth (Tennyson) Bentley. Bill was a graduate of West De Pere High School and UW-Green Bay. Bill is survived by his mother Ruth Bentley; sister Judy Melotte; niece Becci Gilbertson; nephew Steve Kenyon; great nieces: Anarel Valenta, Solana and Amber Marcus-Kenyon; and Amanda Kenyon; close friends; and his extended family. He was preceded in death by his father William; aunts; and uncles. Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, May 31, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 N. Tenth St, De Pere. Visitation will continue on Thursday, June 1 from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Bill will be laid to rest in Nicolet Memorial Gardens. Memorials are appreciated as an alternative for floral tributes. Bill's family is so grateful for the nurses on 4th Floor Bellin Hospital for all they did for him and them during his times at the hospital.
