William "Bill" W. Francois, passed away at home on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. He was born August 21, 1942, in Green Bay to Henry and Margaret (Vander Linden) Francois. Bill graduated from East High School in 1960. On June 1, 1968 Bill married the former Patricia Timm at St Paul Lutheran Church, Green Bay. Bill worked for American Can Company, now Georgia Pacific, starting in 1964 until retiring in 2006. Bill was a true family man who enjoyed his time at home. He loved to read, videotaping anything, had a love for cars, trains, and planes; reminiscing about his dog Bear who died about ten years ago, but most of all he truly loved the time he had with his granddaughter Anna. Bill is survived by his wife of 48 years Patricia Francois; his daughter Michelle (Adam) Hansen; his granddaughter Anna Hansen; his siblings: Hank (Peggy) Francois, Sally (Art) Kozlowski, Darlene "Sis" (Art) Walters, and Richard Francois; and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two young siblings, sister-in-law Donna Francois, and aunts and uncles.
