William Thomas Emmerton born on January 23, 1937 passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the age of 83. Bill was born in Sparta, WI to William & Ardis Emmerton. He grew up in Verona, WI, where after graduating high school in 1955 he enlisted in the Navy – serving two (2) years active duty. During his service he crossed both the Equator & Artic Circle. Bill had a long career as a carpenter & was a member of the Journeyman's Carpenter Union. He was an avid water enthusiast & fisherman. Bill is survived by his wife of 45 years, Robin (Wilber) Emmerton, his son Aaron Emmerton (Sarah) & three step-children; Tina Pospychala, Susan Paremski (Joe), & Heidi Pospychala; along with 13 grandchildren & 3 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother Richard, niece Kristin Haag, cousin Marisha Emmerton, & Elain Hunt. He was preceded in death by his parents & step-son, Timothy. A private family service will be held at Ryan Funeral Home today with Pastor Lonnie Johnson officiating.
