William “Bill” Klumpp, 67, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at his daughter’s home in De Pere, Wisconsin, with a daughter on each side. Born on December 11, 1958, Bill lived a life rooted in faith, family, and a love for the outdoors. Bill married his wife, Susan (Koepsel), on October 27, 1979, at Salem Lutheran Church in Milwaukee.

A longtime resident of Florence, Wisconsin, Bill later retired to Crivitz, where he enjoyed the peaceful Northwoods lifestyle he loved so much. He spent many years as a truck driver, where he formed lasting friendships with many of the people he worked alongside.

Bill found his greatest joy spending time in the Northwoods. Whether he was casting a line in search of musky, enjoying time hunting, or camping with family and friends, he felt most at home surrounded by God’s creation. He especially loved sharing his passion for the outdoors with his children, teaching them how to hunt and fish and creating memories that they will treasure for years to come.

Bill also had a special love for his dogs and granddogs, who brought him endless joy. He cherished every moment spent with them, whether outdoors or relaxing at home, and they were truly beloved members of his family.

Bill was a faithful Christian whose faith guided him throughout his life and gave him strength, comfort, and peace, especially during his passing. Even as his time on earth came to a close, he repeatedly told everyone that “it’s not goodbye, but rather I’ll see you later.” He was also a devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers, rarely missing an opportunity to cheer on his favorite teams and follow them throughout each season.

More than anything, Bill loved his family. He is survived by his wife, Susan; his children, Jessica, Bob, and Rosa (Stan); his cherished grandchildren: Gavin, Hannah, Emma, AJ, Easton, Derrek; his brother, Jim (Julie); his beloved niece, Angel (Betty and Kayla); and many other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Bill will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his deep love for his family, and his loyal friendships. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and countless memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered until we meet again.

Bill was welcomed to his heavenly home by those family members who preceded him in death, including his mother and father, Charlene and Bob Klumpp, and one brother, Mike; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Joyce and Bob Koepsel, and honorary parents June and Emil Wruck, in addition to many other loved family members and friends. They will be remembered as an important part of his life and the memories he carried with him.

The funeral service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Florence, Wisconsin on Sunday, July 26, 2026. Visitation is from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. The funeral service begins at 2:00 p.m., with a luncheon to follow at the church.

Bill will be laid to rest privately in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Florence, WI.
