Father, educator, karaoke singer, dancer, traveler, William E. Sinclair graduated from West DePere High School, Saint Norbert's College and received his master degree in special education from UW- Oshkosh. Bill was 81 years old from DePere, Wisconsin. He died Thursday, October 2, 2013 in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. He was very active in DePere Kiwanis for many years. He devoted 30 years of his life as a fierce advocate for education and children with special needs. In lieu of flowers, a fund in his name has been established for United Cerebral Palsy Foundation. He was married to Maxine (Mickey) Neadow, of Cooks, Michigan who preceded him in death. They had seven children, twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Although he referred to himself as a "curmudgeon" and "iconoclast", he will always be remembered for his strength, independent thinking, perseverance, amazing intellect, and lust for life. Bill served in the Navy and is a Korean War Veteran. He is survived by his three sisters; Marilyn Fleischer, Eunice Bain and Nonda (Cindy) Boyer, his seven children, Brad Sinclair and wife Cindy, Craig and Yvonne Sinclair, Jody and Bill McTurner, Lisa Steward, Bryan Sinclair and Carol, Julie and Dan Gerety, and Mike and Kim Sinclair. Family and friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 305 N. Tenth St., De Pere from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, October 4, 2013 (TODAY). Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 PM (TODAY) at the funeral home. Full military honors will follow the service.
