William "Bill" Stephan, age 62 of De Pere passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday evening September 12, 2013. On May 20, 1972 he was united in marriage to Marsha Neyhard at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. Bill owned Biomet-Stephan Associates Inc. of De Pere. He always lived life to the fullest through his motto of "Always count your blessings", and "Be thankful for everyday". Bill was a very generous and humble man to all. Bill always had a great appreciation for all who serve their country. He also enjoyed upland bird hunting, and took great pride in family and work. Bill is survived by his loving wife Marsha, their children; Jack (Kelly) Stephan of Green Bay, Suzanne (Paul) Deleeuw of De Pere, and their daughter Helena and Bill was looking forward to meeting his new granddaughter in January; his mom Helen Stephan of Oshkosh, his sister Sandra (Greg) Weigandt of Marietta, GA. Further surviving are his father in law, Kenneth Neyhard of Oshkosh, brothers in law, Ken (Kathy) Neyhard of Greenville, Jim Bartelt of Oshkosh, as well as several nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his father, Jack Carl Stephan, his sister Nancy Bartelt, and Bill's mother in law Joann Neyhard. Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street in De Pere from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 16, 2013. Visitation will continue after 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Ascension Lutheran Church 2911 Libal Street, Green Bay until the time of service at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Luther Swenson officiating.
