Yvone (Denny) Metoxen, 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 19, 2024. She was born in Oneida, WI, on September 15, 1945, to Comey Denny & Rena Parkhurst. Yvone married the love of her life, Ronnie Metoxen, 60 years ago on August 31, 1963. She lived on the Southside of Milwaukee for 38 years and worked for Papa's Bakery for 18 years. Her family then moved back home to Oneida and she worked at Fry Bread Heaven until she retired.

Yvone is survived by her husband Ronnie; her children, Barry (Ellie), Shannon (The Polish Princess Leigh), and Sakesha; her grandchildren, Celisha, Larry, Mariah, Triston, Takoda, Cal, and McKenna; her great-grandchildren, Taylor, Hyson, Janessa, Naquilo, Wai'kai, and Norah. Survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her children Tina and Brian, her sisters Mary, Martha, Lida, Wilma, Betsy, Ione, Melba, and her brothers Brickman, Howard, Comey Jr., Reggie, Lloyd and BillyBuck.

Yvone always loved a good bargain. She loved to go bumming (shopping, scrummages, and thrifting) and she had a good eye for fashion. She also loved her salts and sweets while listening to Willie Nelson Roadhouse music. Ronnie & Yvone were inseparable, especially at the casinos and Friday fish fries. Yvonne's love language was gift giving and baking. Her summer adventures were camping and outdoor picnics at Jackson Park in Milwaukee with her family and friends. Family gatherings always ended with a good game of showdown or 4,5,6 (left, right, center). Yvone was the sweetest with the kindest heart, selfless and always thought of others.

Family and friends may call to Holy Apostles Episcopal Church, 2937 Freedom Rd, Oneida, WI 54155 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. The Oneida Hymn Singers will begin at 10:30 a.m. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. James Biegler officiating. Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N.
