Yvonne Marie Kleuskens, 88, passed away June 4, 2026, at Alpha Senior Concepts in Suamico. She was born in Green Bay on June 5, 1937, to the late John and Leona Verber. On May 30, 1958, Yvonne married the love of her life, Ken Kleuskens at the Old St. Joseph Church on the St. Norbert College campus.
In their sixty plus years together, Yvonne and Ken were avid travelers, visiting all 50 states and taking trips overseas. They were especially fond of traveling to see their family. For nearly two decades, they wintered in Bullhead City, Arizona, where they made many great friends. They loved playing cards and bowling. Yvonne enjoyed quilting and was a proud member of the quilting group at St. Mary’s in De Pere. She also loved her Packers and watching her children and grandchildren play sports. She loved anything with angels or cardinals. Yvonne worked at the White Store and the Progressive Farmers Co-op in De Pere for many years.
Yvonne is survived by her children, Michael (Pam Hodgson), Karen Otto (Todd Belanger), Colleen Pinchart, Barbara (Daniel) Peterson and Patricia Kleuskens. She is further survived by five grandchildren, Kelly Rusch, Kendall Kramer, Brian (Kelly) Peterson, Chris (Rachael) Peterson, Drew Otto; ten great-grandchildren, Alex, Jordan, Hailey, Audrey, Payton, Sawyer, Louie, Grady, Greta and Oryn.
She is now reunited with her husband Ken, her parents John and Leona; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim (Ruth) Verber, Bob (Joyce) Verber, her sister and brother-in-law Marion (Carl) Anderson; in-laws Ted (Nettie), Harold (Pearl), Donald (Millie), Mel (Delores), Jim (Marge), Carl (Helen) and Betty (Howard) Gilson.
A public visitation will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Parish, 145 St. Joseph Drive, Hobart from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow with Father Paul Paider officiating. Entombment will take place at Allouez Catholic Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Yvonne’s memory can be made to Unity Hospice and Unity Resale. Ryan Funeral Home, De Pere is assisting the family.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Allison from Sequoia plus the staff at Alpha Senior Concepts and Moments Hospice for their exceptional care of Yvonne.
